We desire that as the men of our city we will enjoy a deeper revelation of our true identity in Christ Jesus. That as we surrender each day to Jesus as Lord of our hearts & lives, we will walk in the fullness of His purpose for us as disciples, husbands, fathers & labourers for Him. That our very lives would be a living sacrifice to Him, for His Glory.

Dawson Farm, corner of Kraggakamma Rd and Lakeside Rd. There is signage on Kraggakamma directing you to the farm entrance. There is an area set aside for day visitors so that they can enter & exit easier after the sessions they wish to attend.

Friday the 20th to Sunday the 22 October 2017. The Farm is open all day Friday for tents to be erected. The Sunday session is a family service, so you are welcome to picnic after the service.

What to bring

Day visitors: Bible, sunhat, camper chair, coffee mug, headlamp & braai tongs (if you are braaing). Food & Cappo vendors will be on site all weekend, so you can purchase food and coldrinks on site. For those sleeping over: tent, bedding, torch.

What is supplied

A limited number of plastic chairs, wood, braai grids & toilets will be made available. Separate toilets are provided for the ladies on Sunday. Coffee and tea will be on sale.

Entrance is free so we can reach as many men as possible, but we do ask for donations towards the costs involved in hosting the camp. The camp finance falls under the oversight of the Storehouse Church and all accounts are open for inspection by interested parties.

How it started?

The idea of hosting a Nelson Mandela Bay men’s camp on the edge of town was birthed from our men’s group called the KINGdom Manne. The first camp was hosted in 2014 and as an organising team, we have felt that it is God’s Will that we continue to host these camps and to build on the momentum that is gathering amongst our local churches across the city to support the event.

The co-operation amongst the various local churches is an exciting glimpse of what Jesus prayed for in John 17:20-22: that we may be one as He is one.

We believe that Jesus is Worthy of all praise. He is Emanuel: “God is with us”. He is the Good Shepherd Who laid down His life to reconcile us with Our Heavenly Father, so that by the shedding of his blood we are forgiven, healed and set free. Jesus is the Way, the Truth & the Life. Through Him we are saved by Grace & are sons of the Most High and only living God.

We believe that God in the form of His Holy Spirit dwells within us. We are equipped by His divine power with all we need to live a godly life.
